According to a marathi youtube channel, fraudsters have looted Amazon/Amazon sellers of Rs 30 crores or more with buyers submitting fake documents to get refunds while keeping the expensive items they ordered online.
buyers who purchased expensive items on amazon were allegedly contacted by the fraudsters and told that they can keep the items ordered on amazon and also get a refund from amazon with the help of fraudsters, who charged a percentage of refund received.
The amazon buyers who actually received the items were told to file a fake refund claim that they had not received the item ordered, the fraudsters who contacted them on telegram would provide the photoshopped documents required, so that the refund claim would be processed.
